Questions button

Order a duplicate license or learner permit on-line.
  • Replace a damaged, lost or stolen driver license or learner permit.
  • Your duplicate will arrive by mail. Allow two weeks for delivery. Express mail service is not available.
  • Do we have your correct address? Do NOT order on-line if you have moved without notifying DMV.  Duplicates ordered on-line are mailed only to the address on DMV's files.  Use another method to order.
  • PLEASE NOTE! - You may be ticketed if you drive without having a valid driver license or permit in your possession. If you need to drive, we recommend that you visit a local DMV office to place your order so you can get a  temporary license.  You can only get a temporary license at a DMV office.
  • If your driver license or permit is due to expire within a year, you may choose to renew now instead of ordering a duplicate.  See License, ID or Permit Renewal for instructions.

If you are under 21...  read these special instructions before ordering.
